Recently I purchased some Fantastic Four Archives cards, which were on clearance for .99 cents.  I thought they would be OK because I enjoyed both Batman Archives and X-men Archives.

I would have to say this is one of the worst card series I have ever purchased.  The artwork for these cards was pretty craptastic and the special cards were not memorable at all.  These cards look like cards you get from a machine at the supermarket but glossy.  The most enjoyable part is the back of the card , which contains a cover from an issue of The Fantastic Four.  That is why I enjoyed the Batman Archives was because the front had old covers from past to present Batman.  So my advice, leave The Fantastic Four Archives in the clearance bin but do pick up Batman Archives for the awesome cover art.
