Over the decades Robert Downey Jr. has had his ups and downs in his personal life, and the media has scrutinized and praised him just the same on the silver screen.

Nothing short of an amazing actor, Downey brought Marvel’s Iron Man to life in 2008, easily being the best made, most exciting Marvel movie to date we can’t wait for Iron Man 2 and the Avengers movie to follow! Surely the one to measure future comic movies against!  His suave demeanor, devilish smirk and dark dreamy eyes will pierce your soul and make you want him to pierce other things!

Yesterday the promo for the new episode of the Variants was released into the wilds of the Internet! As always, we’re excited beyond belief. It’s been on a roll since the very start and we don’t want to see it stop. Shenanigans are promised in the new episode with a character being slated to die (it’s Vlad)?! Caped Couture!

It’s true people,  MaD loves fashion, and smashin’…[Grrr Hawk Girl Smash!], and we love fashion like we like our comics, Cross-Over-City!  Thank god for Club Monaco.  Classically made clothes in which color tendencies stay in the shades of grey area, Club Monaco uses Spider Woman in their newest  ad to feature their cape-style jackets for the winter.

When fashion uses comics to create art/ads with their pieces, we are all about it.  This kind of cross-over brings comics into a different world than where you come from and slowly but surely introduces fashionistas into the comic industry!

This season there are so many great story lines, but the most interesting to us here at MaD is the Is she or isn’t She? plot surrounding Claire Bennet’s sexuality. We smell a lez-bot, and are excited about the possibility. Do you think Miss Bennet is a shoe-in for scissoring?  

Batman The Brave & The Bold; The Musical!

This Friday, October 24th at 7:30 P.M. Cartoon Network will air a very special episode of Batman the Brave and the Bold.  This episode will be a musical episode with special guest star Neil Patrick Harris as Music Meister.

Although Black Canary will be in this episode don’t be surprised if she is trying to shag Batman and not Green Arrow.  I know I will definitely be checking this out.

Sexy. It would be a crime to describe Ms. Theron as only that as she not only sizzled as heroine Aeon Flux in the live action movie, but also is sexy and beautiful inside and out as she is an advocate for numerous causes including HIV/AIDS, Women’s rights, Animal Rights [PETA], and founded Charlize Theron’s Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) whose goal is to create a safer, healthier and better life for impoverished children and their families in South Africa, especially those suffering from HIV/AIDS. That’s why she is our Hottie of the Week!
