Astonishingly Animated!

Marvel has announced that Joss Whedon and John Cassaday’s Astonishing X-Men will be adapted into an animated series.  Marvel has previously released a motion comic based off the first story arc Gifted, but nothing beyond that was released.  Emma Frost and Scott Summers have been the headmasters of the Xavier Institute for some time now, so it will be nice to see an animated representation of how things have been in the X-Men comics for the past 7 years or more.  If they go by the book the core members will consist of Cyclops, Emma Frost, Wolverine, Beast, Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Armor, and maybe Storm.  Hopefully this will fill the void in my heart that was left when Wolverine and the X-Men was cancelled.

Ultimate X-Men Makes It’s Return!

This September the Ultimate X-Men return, which we all know what that means gay Colossus!

Ultimate Comics X-Men will be written by Nick Spencer and  drawn by Paco Medina.  The series will relaunch continuing with the continuity that has already been established in the Ultimate universe.  This title will have the feel of “Days Of Future Past” where mutants are becoming extinct, and are hunted down by order of the government. The X- Roster will consist of Kitty Pryde, Storm, Colossus, Iceman, Jimmy Hudson, Johnny Storm, Liz Allan and Karen Grant aka Jean Grey.  Rogue will also be a big part of this title, which it has been stated that this is a Rogue and Kitty focused book.  September is going to be a great month for comics with the release of Batwoman and now the relaunch of Ultimate X-Men.

MaD Turns One!

MaD BDT’was one year ago today that MaD started with its first dirty entry about a big metal hotty named Colossus. Today we are [slightly] less dirty but still bring the goods and we are more than thankful to have readers and listeners, whoever you are, taking a look at our humble sight and joining us on our new podcast. Remember that our content doesn’t stop there as we also have a page on Youtube as well as Twitter, so find us, stalk us and feel free to make us your bitch. There is plenty to go around!  Hopefully you will grow with us [down there] as we continue to bring bigger and better content!

A Colossal Beginning!

Welcome to the first post of Mutant A Day! This blog will feature mutants, super heroes and baddies of various comic characters of only the marvel various universes!  We will also be giving you heads up on different story lines, movies, and other info one might need to know! Enjoy!

What better way to start off than with Colossus (Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin) of the X-Men’s Gold Team! Currently Mr. Rasputin has switched teams from Ms. Kitty Pryde’s beefy boyfriend, to North Star’s hot as fuck gay boyfriend in the Ultimate X-Men story line.  Finally some gay lovin’ between mainstream characters in a story line that is not only awesomely written but fantastically drawn!  And I imagine Logan can finally worry less about his furry ass dropping the soap in the X-Showers. (whiiink)

Look out later this month for Ultimate X Men 98, Wolverine has destroyed all the “banshee” and North Star is actually not dead & Colossus are reunited but what the HELL is up with Quicksilver and Magneto’s plan to “DEAL WITH THESE HUMANS” ?!?
