Free Comic Book Day @ Zeus Comics!

We woke our asses up early to get to Zeus Comics for Free Comic Book Day 2012! It was crowded and wonderful and we met plenty of awesome people as well! We look forward to our Hulkling commission from the very talented Robert Wilson IV!

Legos Assemble!

Marvel has released official images for some of the upcoming Avengers Lego Sets and they are looking good.  I have recently purchased a couple of the DC Universe Lego sets and I was pleasantly surprised how awesome they were.  I can’t wait to see what else Marvel has in store for us, maybe Lego Batman 2: Super Heroes will inspire Marvel to come out with something comparable, we can only hope.

Things that make you go POP; Bobbleheads

Ok we aren’t super fans of bobbleheads, but we are super fans of super heroes who are super cute. So we [we mean Marvel] give you Marvel POP Bobble Heads. They are adorable. Remind me of those Ninja Turtle Ice Creams with the bubblegum eyes.  Makes me miss Mighty Muggs though. Check it out HERE!

MaD ♥’s Tokidoki

We’ve said it before [in the title] and we will say it again; Mutant A Day is mad about Tokidoki‘s Marvel line of apparel. Check out Windiebird, Aaron M. and myself sporting the Wolverine hoodie! I gotta say, our models are a tad more sexy than then the ones on the site though. [But maybe I'm being a tad bias]

The OTHER Stan!

One Mr. Stanley Tucci has been cast to star as Dr. Abraham Erskine in the new Marvel flick, Captain America: The First AvengerAs one of our favorite actors [since his role as Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream] Tucci has made all of the movies he has been in hits with his quick wit, great acting skills and smoldering looks!

Marvel’s Joe Quesada, New CCO

CCO Joe Quesada; Marvel.com

Former Current Editor-in-Chief, Joe Quesada has been named Chief Creative Officer of Marvel Entertainment, LLC.

But not without a PRICE!!! DUN DUN DUN! Not really. He will remain E-in-C as well continuing to bring about what he’s been bringing about for the past decade.

This move much like the mousey move a few months ago a-la Disney, has not gone without some ridicule from Marvel fans. We the people, at MaD,  don’t really have a big issue with him being CCO.

Just continue giving us what we want; more Second Coming, more Heroic Age [More gay Colossus] and more great art, and we will golden shower you with praise. And by you, we mean Marvel as a whole. It takes a village, right ladies?

Check out Marvel News for the story and tell us what you think about the comments below it. Are you an angry Marvel Fan, or do you think all of this is heading in the right direction?
