If you’re like us at Mutant A Day, you might be a little older, a little wiser, a little more rock and roll, and a little less bring your evil spawn to the theatre to ruin a perfectly good movie with the man of our dreams in it.
This is why we have chosen to see the matinee showing of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on, can you believe it, SUNDAY and in the morning, if we can help it. We want optimal viewing without the loud “OH NO HE DIDN’T!” or the muffled, “MMHMM”. Plus, we like Middle Middle. [Jackman Sandwhich is you please]! JK, of the theatre of course!
With our excitement of seeing Logan get all “I’m gonna teach you a lesson”-y [oh yessir please do] on the big screen I thought it only right to do a brief [ahh the jokes] bulleted history of said mutant hottie as his story is frakkin’ long.WHHINK!
-WWI; Wolverine does a lot of fighting, gets all stabby, wears a patch ARGGGG! And also gets some booty on the side. Sabretooth is present.
-WWII; Wolverine fights alongside Capn America, fights a vamp Buffy style, Gets all samurai, Sabretooth is present and kills Silver Fox, Wolverine then works for the US CIA….what a trooper.
-Something about “Team X“…Sabretooth is present.
-Weapon X – Logan is wolverine-napped by the program and his bones are laced with adamantium, he gets angies, and escapes all raw and naked.
-Department H/Alpha Flight- Logan is all like “Aye” this and “Aye” that, is officially Wolverine after joining the Canadian team and helps stop Wendigo and Hulk from going all destructo on the surrounding area. Suprisingly Sabretooth is not present.
-The X-Men- Professor X recruits Wolverine, and he accepts, quitting Alpha Flight/Dept H, Buckets O’Hell happen has Logan deals with regaining is memory, having Magneto rip out his adamantium and almost dying, like a bunch of times, Jean Grey, and a plethera of women, going feral again, leaving the X-Men, coming back, House of M, and currently helping lead the X-Men in San Francisco with Emma Frost and lap dog Scott Summers. Sabretooth is in there a lot.
So that’s the gist ladies, gents and inbetweeners! His character is pretty intense and I’m sure that Hugh Jackman will do justice to the origin that is Logan’s. But what if they don’t have tickets left? I am NOT going to see that stupid new matthew mcconaughey movie. Greasy bastard.

The Savage Creed
So is day two of the count down to X Men Origins: Wolverine, coming out May 1st. Now like any good blogger it is important and necessary not to be obsessed with the main character [Hugh Jackman] of a movie, and recognize that other people do exist….like when they call Hugh Jackman Wolverine, or like when they call him Logan, or when they call him James. You have to recognize that….I am in love with “them”. As such you must give attention to his arch nemisis, Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth.
Starting out in the Marvel universe as purely a villianous murder, Victor has been the pong ball between evil and not so evil. Formerly fighting side by side with Wolverine in the Weapon X project, Sabretooth is most noticeable as being Magneto’s muscle while apart of The Brotherhood of evil Mutants, or simply, The Brotherhood. His character has also been linked to being Logan’s father, which was later proven not true, as well as the lover of Mystique, [birthing the mutant-phobe Graydon Creed], known to many as Raven Darkholme or the former Rebecca Romaine, (stay-moist), from the X movies.
Joining the X Men as well as X Factor his mind has been on the brink many times on Earth 616 [Don't hate me for using that term]. In fact the only time Sabretooth has not been a homocidal maniac is in Age of Apocolypse {irony} when not only does he care for WildeChild, (be it by chain), but also for Clarice Ferguson, also known as the teleporting Blink.
Played by Tyler Mane in the X movies, Liev Schreiber will take over the roll in the new Origins movie giving some insight to the characters background and personality….ya know besides the constant “I’m going to kill your face” complex that he has.

On Fire & Getting Fired…
So with the release of my husband’s Hugh Jackman’s movie coming out, X- Men Origins: Wolverine, it seems that people have literally lost their frikin’ minds!
As you all know, well now you do, there is a leak out there of an unfinished Wolverine and since people are tar-tar and can’t wait to see it in theatres, the word is spreading and more and more people are tarnishing their good sense and jumping on the bandwagon of what I think is bad guy protocol.
This has happened SO much that even critics are trying and have gotten their grubby little hands on it and have gone so far as to write reviews and publish them.
Fail.
And with that failure the dude got canned. The dude being Fox News columnist Roger Friedman. Oh Fox . And Fox affiliated people. When will the shenanigans end!!!
It wont, that’s why we love Family Guy so much. I mean did you see the last episode wh….wait…uh .. Wolverine, yes.
So here is the article…read it. There is also a nice pic of Jackman. BTW, he says it’s freaking AWESOME! Which is to be expected. I mean, check the pic at the top. Wolverine is on fire. in my pants.

Wolverine & The X Men: Review
Awesome. Watch it. And this is why you should:
1.Storm has a GIANT q-tip like hair do.
2.Wolverine is still badass
3.Cyclops is still just an ass [umm...wait that can't be right]
4. Colossus is indeed yummylicious
The overall toon is great! There is a new story line that allows the characters to develop episode by episode and it keeps you wanting more…mmhmm!
But remember, you know how biased we are for wolverines bone(s) structure. Whiiink!
