Free Comic Book Day @ Zeus Comics!
Today Windiebird and I [Rueben] ventured to Zeus Comics to check out what they had in store for Free Comic Book Day. We were able to meet many artists [new to us], get some prints, back issues that were 40% off [with coupon] and get about a dozen free comics! All in all, not a bad day! Thanks to the Zeus gang for letting us take photos to share with everyone!

Hero Up! Auction Benefit for Japan

Always Heroes in our eyes, the Zeus Comics gang will be hosting a Live Art Jam & Auction benefiting Japan this Friday, April 22, 2011 starting at 9 p.m. at the Billard Bar in Dallas,Texas.
DJ ceepee from Good Records will be spinning and there will be lots of supplies and professional and non professional artist creating art while drinks and fun ar had.
CONFIRMED ARTISTS: James O’Barr (the Crow), Joe Eisma (Morning Glories), Kristian Donaldson (DMZ, Supermarket, the Guild), the entire Space Gun Studios crew, Curt Franklin and Chris Haley (letsbefriendsagain.com), and RK Milholland (somethingpositive.net).
