I am not one of the people in the comic universe that absolutely hated Age of Apocalypse back in the 90’s. I thought it was a big refreshing “What if” series that started and ended well and didn’t drive me any kind of bonkers. The art was up to par for the time and the redesign rocked the casbah! Let’s face it, Joe Madureira stole my heart.
Currently and in the near future [January 2011] Marvel seems to have laid plans for another AOA type series mysteriously named Age of X. There is a lot of speculation as to what is going to be happening in this series, but nothing is concrete as of yet. Aside from the image below. I’m not going to post any of the images that
give you exactly where the silhouetted shadows come from. Because we all know…and because pointing that out makes me feel lame and makes me slightly disappointed at marvel for not drawing up some new art for this teaser image. [wtg]
Aside from the aged shadows themselves and what could seemingly be a possibly now generic crossover storyline, I’m hella excited about Marvel’s new universe! How about some more gay Colossus…or gay Wolverine, or gay Gambit, or gay EVERYONE!!!
